Lasro Marbun Has Not Submitted His Resignation Letter

Lasro Marbun’s plan to resign from his position as Head of Jakarta Education department has been conveyed to Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama. But, his resignation letter still has not been submitted.

City Secretary, Saefullah, admitted has heard about Marbun’s plan. However, he has not heard it directly from Marbun himself.

“I haven’t heard him said it directly to me, ‘Sir, I want to resign.’ He hasn’t reported it in details to me,” told Saefullah, at City Hall, Thursday (8/7).

Stressful, Lasro Marbun Wants to Resign from Education Dept

According to Saefullah, it is Marbun’s personal right to resign from his position. Besides, he has run his duty to take care of Jakarta Education Department for a few months.

“That is his right. Trust has been given by the Governor for him to take care of education division, and it has been running for a few months. Whether he wants to go on or not, it depends on him. I’m only an administrator, only need to adjust with upcoming decision,” uttered Saefullah.

Even so, Saefullah hopes that before Marbun really resign or being transferred from his current position, he would realize all of the programs and plans that have been made. For instance is the plan to regroup schools in one complex. With this regrouping, the management system would not be a waste and could be neatly arranged.

“I’ve heard him wants to do some kind of regrouping, like eight elementary schools (SD) in one complex. It is an old discourse. If he could realize it soon, that would be great,” stated Saefullah.
